What is Plasmium?
Plasmium is described in-game as "liquid lifeseed, possessed of remarkable regenerative qualities." It's a unique substance foreign to Pharloom, introduced by the Alchemist Zylotol who discovered its properties during his research.
Unlike the Soul system from Hollow Knight, Plasmium provides a completely different approach to survivability. Instead of healing existing damage, Plasmium grants Hornet additional health masks called "Plasmium Masks" that act as a buffer above her normal health pool.

How to Get the Plasmium Phial

- Find Alchemist Zylotol's Laboratory - Located at the top of the Wormways
- Accept the Quest - Speak with Zylotol to begin "Alchemist's Assistant"
- Collect 3 Plasmium Samples - Extract them from Plasmium Buds using a fully charged Needle Phial stab
- Return to Zylotol - Deliver the samples to receive your Plasmium Phial
Pro Tip
Plasmium Buds are marked with a distinctive glow. Make sure your Needle Phial is fully charged before attempting extraction - a partial charge won't work.

Important Limitation

When Hornet accumulates 9 Plasmium Masks, she enters the powerful Plasmification state. This is a game-changing transformation that significantly alters combat dynamics.
- Passive Regeneration - Recover one Mask every 6 seconds automatically

How to Reach 9 Plasmium Masks
You can't reach Plasmification with just the basic Plasmium Phial (6 charges). Here are your options:

Heads Up
