Bench Locations in Hollow Knight Silksong

Bench Overview

Benches serve as save points, respawn locations, and rest stations in Hollow Knight: Silksong. When Hornet sits at a Bench, the game saves your progress, your health and Silk are fully restored, all throwable tool charges refill, and all enemies in the area respawn.

There are 78 Benches across Pharloom — significantly more than Hollow Knight's Hallownest. Most are free to use, but some require a toll of Rosary Beads to unlock.

Bench Pins

Purchase Bench Pins from Shakra for 60 Rosaries to mark all discovered benches on your map. Undiscovered benches won't appear, but toll benches you've seen but not paid for will show as grayed-out icons. This is one of the most valuable early purchases in the game.

Bench Tips & Strategies

  1. Buy Bench Pins immediately — 60 Rosaries to see all bench locations on your map is the best early investment.

  2. Rest before exploring new areas — Dying sends you back to your last bench. Always save before venturing into unknown territory.

  3. Toll benches are worth paying for — 30-60 Rosaries is a small price for a respawn point in a difficult area.

  4. Bench-to-bench routing — Plan your exploration in bench-to-bench segments. Reach the next bench, rest, then push forward.

  5. Farm at bench-adjacent enemy spawns — Since enemies respawn when you rest, benches near dense enemy groups make perfect farming loops (Greymoor Halfway Home is the best example).

  6. Remember: resting refills throwables — If you're running low on Throwing Daggers or Fire Bombs, find the nearest bench to restock.
